Antitrust (2001)

This is one of the greatest movies I have ever watched. I've been reading more about open source projects for the last few days and found how important they are. They promote free software. If something is available free, why pay for that? I told this because the movie is related to that.

This is a movie that IT people must watch. I'd like to quote something from the movie. "Human Knowledge belongs to the World".

If I tell you the story of the movie, you won't get the maximum entertainment. So watch it.

Hackers (1995)

This movie exposes you to the community of Computer Hackers. This doesn't teach you hacking but shows the possibilities. All the computer lovers must watch this movie.

Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999)

Everybody must watch this movie. This is about how Microsoft emerged over Apple and IBM. Once you watch the movie, you won't see Bill Gates as the same you saw him earlier. A great movie to learn how stuff work in the field of Information Technology.

The Social Network 2010

This is the story behind the social network "facebook". Since you are stepping into the IT field, you can learn many things by watching this movie.

The movie describes how "Mark Zuckerberg", the developer of 'Facebook' got the idea to build the website and how he was inspired to develop it further.

It is a great work because those days web development tools were not developed like today and so the web developers had to write thousands of lines of coding when developing websites.

Finally I would like to quote a sentence from the movie.

"Harvard Undergraduates believe that inventing a job is better than finding a job."
